He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he studied in the painting studio under the guidance of Vladimír Skrepl; during his studies, he also completed enriching internships abroad. In his work, he moves with complete naturalness and confidence along the boundary between classical hanging paintings, monumental murals, and spatial installations. For him, drawing is the primary means of expression; he does not view it merely as a preparatory phase, but as a distinct, dynamic, and fully realized visual medium in its own right.
His artistic style is characterized by bold, often neon-like colors, spontaneous gestures, and extraordinary freedom. He frequently and gladly draws inspiration from the world of comics, the aesthetics of children’s drawings, pop culture, and the pulsating energy of the contemporary city, all of which he masterfully transforms into his own expressive language. Moreover, he does not limit his characteristic drawing lines to paper or canvas alone, but takes great pleasure in transforming them into luminous neon objects.
He regularly exhibits his works with great success not only in leading Czech galleries but also abroad, where his visual style has garnered considerable attention. A very important and integral part of his creative work involves direct collaborations with contemporary architecture, in which he often works closely with architectural firms. Thanks to this progressive approach, his works breathe new life into both public and private spaces in an original way, offering viewers a powerful, visually immersive experience.
