He studied set design and then photography at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), where he received the Rector’s Award for his work. In his work, he combines a photographic vision, audiovisual experience, and a refined sense of spatial abstraction. He focuses on architectural, landscape, portrait, and product photography, deliberately working with atmosphere, light, and precisely composed visual experiences.
He has long been interested in people in the context of landscape and architecture, the memory of specific places, technological progress, and the nature of our contemporary rituals. In his work, he constantly seeks ways to combine function, aesthetics, and real-life needs as sensitively as possible. In the past, for example, in his ACUO project, he innovatively combined sound, image, space, and live art.
In addition to his fine and applied art work, he also successfully participates in projects that overlap with innovative entrepreneurship and modern architecture. Among other things, he is a co-creator of the “Věčná loviště” animal crematorium, which focuses on dignified farewells. The architecture of this exceptional project has garnered significant recognition from the professional community and won the prestigious Building of the Year 2021 competition.
