She is a successful Czech designer and a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In her artistic work, she specializes primarily in engraving, cutting, and sculpting glass. She has gained experience not only through her studio practice but also through extensive international work, and in her work she always combines a clear concept with a strong emphasis on the material itself and its exceptional craftsmanship.
She draws her main inspiration for her works from natural structures, such as birds’ nests, spider webs, grasses, and various marine plants. However, these are not mere descriptive imitations, but rather an ingenious translation of the principles of growth, layering, and protection directly into contemporary glass forms. He then constructs the surfaces of his objects as a delicate network of cuts, edges, and textures that specifically guide light and visually transform the object depending on the viewing angle and the surrounding space.
For more than two decades, she has been successfully creating original glass works and designing monumental lighting installations for architectural projects. Throughout her prolific career, she has collaborated on a wide range of prestigious international projects. Her distinctive artistic style and masterful craftsmanship have thus become integral parts of large-scale projects such as the Dubai Metro and the Czech House in London.
