Her artistic practice is rooted primarily in fashion design, which she seamlessly expands into the creation of objects and interdisciplinary collaboration. She enjoys experimenting with various cuts, unusual textures, recycled materials, and traditional craft techniques. Capturing movement and exploring the overall relationship between the created work and the human body play a key role in her designs.
She finds inspiration for her work in rituals, in constant change, in the cyclical nature of human life, and in the extraordinary richness of everyday personal experience. She designs her clothing and objects with ease, humor, and a refined sense of striking silhouette, while maintaining a highly responsible approach to materials and production. Together with Vladimíra Klumpar-Pavlik, she was able to translate this sense of organic movement and proportion from her designs into molten glass for the Glass Soul project.
She is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and her work has earned her, among other honors, the Designblok Diploma Selection award and a nomination for the Czech Grand Design. She gained valuable international experience during her studies in Tokyo, among other places, and her work has been successfully showcased at prestigious global events such as Shanghai Fashion Week and the Fashion Clash festival in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
