The Glass Soul / Pietas Collection opened its first exhibition at UPM, which took place from the 17th 5. by 5 p.m. 9. 2023.

A total of 21 leading Czech artists from various fields presented their interpretations of cast sculptures displayed in memorial urns. These are traditionally used to hold the ashes of the deceased, but they can also serve as beautiful works of art that preserve the memory of a loved one in your home.

You can place not only the ashes of the deceased in these glass sculptures, but also, for example, their letters, jewelry, or other items that hold special memories for you. These objects can travel with you or be moved around as “mobile tombs” or “memorial altars.”
