She received her professional training by studying glass at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University and glass cutting in Železný Brod, and she also gained valuable international experience during her stay in Finland. For her work to date, she has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Stanislav Libenský Award and the international TALENTE competition, and she regularly presents her independent work to the public in solo exhibitions.
Her long-term work at Studio Lhotský gives her a unique opportunity to understand fused glass in its entirety, from the initial design to the smallest detail of the final piece. In her artistic practice, she works primarily with fused and cut glass, making full use of her knowledge of molds, temperatures, color layers, and post-processing techniques. As a result, she is able to achieve exceptionally clean forms in her works, along with very subtle transitions between transparency, shadow, and internal patterns.
The main inspiration and theme of her work is memory, the traces left behind, the changing nature of light, and the quiet tension hidden within the glass itself. She deliberately conceives her objects in minimalist forms, allowing them to speak for themselves without any superfluous gestures. The viewer’s attention is thus naturally focused solely on the inner space of the work itself and its intimate atmosphere.
